Rules & Guidelines

This conference will follow THIMUN procedure.

Attire:

As is customary with most conferences, KIMUN attendees will be required to wear formal attire at all times during the conference. This includes dress such as but not limited to:

  • Suit

  • Tie

  • Blazer

  • Dishdasha

  • Dresses

  • Shades (optional)

Misconduct:

KIMUN will have a zero-tolerance policy on any misconduct throughout the conference. Please utilize this anonymous Google Form to report any cases of misconduct you come across. Any complaints sent by delegates, advisors, or chairs will be taken seriously by our directors, and consequences may follow.

Frequently Asked Question Answered:

  • Opening Policy Speeches will be entertained in the first lobbying and merging session. Speeches must be a maximum of two minutes long and include a delegate's stance on at least one topic

  • Other than opening speeches, we expect delegates to prepare at least one clause for both of the topics debated in their committee. Each delegate should come with a minimum of two clauses and an opening speech (no position papers!)

  • THIMUN Procedure will be followed

  • The online committees of the conference will be held over Zoom

  • Food will be provided on-site
